COLOR GUARD
An activity that blends ARTISTRY, ATHLETICISM, and PERFORMANCE!
Color Guard is an activity where performers use flags and other equipment combined with choreography to truly bring our marching band show to life visually. Last year, this group consisted of over 20 male and female performers. The best part about color guard is that you don't need experience to join. We teach you everything you need to know. You get to be part of an amazing team of students who's core values are built upon acceptance, hard work, and teamwork! These students are members of the Marching Blue Devils and receive 1.5 academic credit, a varsity letter, and are eligible for gym exemption. Attending the Vo-Tech? You can participate!
The Marching Blue Devils Color Guard functions as a fall sport as far as time commitment beginning in August and running through early November. Students can still participate in winter and spring athletics, but cannot play a fall sport AND be in the color guard.
